Deadline to file to Run for Office is Monday Dec 11, 2023 at 6pm.

For everybody who wants to run as a Democrat in Calhoun County for the 2024 election please do the following:

File your treasurer's form at the Calhoun County Elections Office. You need a non-relative to be your treasurer on your campaign bank account.

Fill out Form 2-4 and have it notarized.

Call/text (361) 238-0335 to Schedule a pickup for the application as well as your check/money order for the fee. Your application will not be approved until the check clears. So make sure the check won't bounce.

The deadline to file is Monday December 11, 2023 at 6pm. Applications will not be accepted after that.
